T&C's

Our terms and conditions

1.1 Reduction hunting

We do not offer reduction hunting on its own. It is only available in combination with trophy hunting.

1.2 Wounded Animals Policy

Any animal that is hit will be charged accordingly. If a wounded animal leaves clear signs of blood or sweat, our team will make every possible effort to track and retrieve it.

1.3 Shooting Practice Requirement

Before heading into the field, all hunters are required to test their firearms and shooting skills on the shooting range to ensure safety and accuracy.

1.4 Hunting Ethics and Conduct

We strictly follow our hunting regulations, which are based on respect—for the hunting guide, the animals, and the natural environment. Responsible and ethical hunting is our top priority.

1.5 License and Permits

All hunters must possess valid hunting licenses and permits as required by Namibian law. We apply for the hunting permits that are required for your experience and only need some personal details from you. Applying for a hunting permit can take 5-10 working days or more so it would be best to receive the required information as soon as possible after booking with us.

1.6 Species Availability and Quotas

Hunting is only allowed for specific species, and within seasonal quotas, to ensure sustainable population management. Availability may vary depending on the time of year.

1.7 Trophy Preparation and Export

Hai//Om Safaris works with local taxidermists to do professional skinning, salting, and preparation of trophies for export. We offer assistance with paperwork and coordination with a taxidermist or shipping agent.

1.8 Professional Hunting Guides

All hunts are conducted under the guidance and supervision of experienced and qualified professional hunters to ensure safety and ethical standards.

1.9 Safety and liability

Personal and travel insurance are strongly recommended for your trip to Namibia. Your stay and excursions are done entirely at your own risk. You are kindly requested to follow the instructions and safety protocols advised by your hunting guide. An indemnity form is to be signed by all clients on the day of arrival.

1.10 Insurance and Emergency Medical Evacuation

We are insured for public liability and have a policy for emergency medical evacuation. Terms and conditions outlined by our insurance firm and brokers apply. Kindly acknowledge that Namibia is a remote country where medical care and attendance may take longer than elsewhere.
